The size preference of new homes is now around 2,500 square feet and continues to rise. In addition, according to the National Association of REALTORS®, (NAR) homebuyers are looking for properties that will easily accommodate multiple generations, with a nine year high of 15% for multi-generation homes since the pandemic.
