- Rock City’s Enchanted Garden of Lights – The holiday light extravaganza at Rock City Gardens in Lookout Mountain, GA features more than 30 holiday scenes that transform the gardens into a Christmas fantasy land. Explore the Arctic Kingdom Aurora Lights, the Magic Forest and more, while also enjoying holiday shopping and visiting with Santa.
- Holiday Fun in Cleveland, GA – Just down the road from Helen is Cleveland, GA. This quaint mountain town offers a variety of unique holiday experiences. From the Christmas in the Mountains Celebration and lighted parade to the Starry Night Tours at the North Georgia Wildlife Park, the holidays are happening her in North Georgia!
- Old Fashioned Christmas in Dahlonega – The Christmas season officially starts with the lighting of the downtown Dahlonega tree on November 26, 2021, and includes a Christmas Parade on December 11, as well as visits with Santa on various dates. Also enjoy Christmas lights, carriage rides, music, wine tastings, extended shopping hours, and more holiday festivities through January 9, 2022. You won’t want to miss the holidays in Dahlonega, GA, one of the Top 25 Hallmark Christmas Towns!
- Holiday Express on the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway – Enjoy a fun-filled train ride on the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway this holiday season. Available November 26 thru December 23, the one-hour train ride is great for families of all ages. The festive train ride on the Holiday Express offers holiday music, the story “The Night Before Christmas,” and delicious hot chocolate. Children will receive a Blue Ridge Scenic Railway jingle bell, candy cane, and activity packet while on board.
- A German Christmas in Helen, GA – Visit Helen, GA for a German Christmas experience. Enjoy festive Alpine cheer as you head to Helen for the annual Christkindlmarkt – a tradition that takes place in the center of town with gifts, decorations, candied treats, and more. Festivities are held the last weekend in November and the first weekend in December. Plenty of family fun and don’t forget Santa arrives on his Bavarian sleigh as part of the Helen Christmas Parade on December 11.
- Mountain Country Christmas in Lights – Located at the Georgia Mountain Fairgrounds in Hiawassee, GA, the Mountain Country Christmas in Lights 2021, is a holiday treat for the entire family. Located along the shores of beautiful Lake Chatuge in the Northeast Georgia mountains, the fairgrounds will transform into a spectacular, magical holiday light show immersed in Christmas music, arts and crafts, food, fun, entertainment, photo opportunities, and a visit with Santa Claus! Thursday thru Saturday November 25-December 18th.
