- Dawsonville Mountain Moonshine Festival -This popular Dawsonville festival takes place at the square in downtown Dawsonville where there will be live entertainment, a car show at the Georgia Racing Hall of Fame, a Moonshine Run, and more. Family fun that race fans will enjoy at the Dawsonville Mountain Moonshine Festival!
- Oktoberfest in Helen – Held each year from September through the end of October, Oktoberfest in Helen, GA is a popular event for locals and visitors. For over 50 years Oktoberfest has offered traditional German food, dancing, and beer! Join the fun and festivities in Helen this fall.
- Rocktoberfest in Lookout Mountain – Experience Rock City’s German heritage festival at their annual Rocktoberfest every Saturday and Sunday in October. - Gold Rush Days in Dahlonega – Voted one of the Top 20 Events in the South by the Southeast Tourism Society, Gold Rush Days are held the 3rd full weekend in October each year. Thousands of people flock to Dahlonega for the fall leaf colors and to celebrate Dahlonega’s 1828 discovery of gold. Enjoy over 200 art and craft exhibitors and food vendors in the Public Square and Historic District for the festival.
- Appalachian Brew, Stew and Que Festival – The Appalachian Brew, Que, and Stew Festival is a collaboration of amazing craft breweries from Georgia, NC, SC, and Alabama. - Toccoa Harvest Festival – Held the last weekend in October, the Toccoa Harvest Festival features more than 160 with an emphasis on home baked, homemade and homegrown items. Enjoy a classic car cruise-in, a petting zoo, puppet shows, farm displays, horse and buggy rides, and live music at the festival. From complete dinners to snacks. There is also a shuttle that takes visitors to beautiful Toccoa Falls.
